About the New Technology Incubator Building

The new technology incubator building is a new facility in the region, to promote knowledge based start-up companies of young science and technology persons. The building, provides incubation space for nurturing high growth start-up ventures, common facilities and competency centres for new ventures, knowledge center dissemination platforms and innovation ambience for networking and partnerships for ventures promotion.

The knowledge centre houses the new knowledge resources as the central focus of the building with wings on both sides. The right wing is primarily dedicated for incubation cubicles for new venture promotion and the left wing housing the incubation support including design theatre, new technology facilities etc. The dissemination auditorium behind the knowledge centre, provides venue for conferencing and knowledge dissemination.The atrium at the centre of the wings, provide networking points for enabling new partnerships with a cafeteria attached to the right wing.

The building is a flexible facility with movable partition spaces to accommodate the requirements of various types of new ventures, as well as new technology common facilities, to support the accelerated growth of SMEs and start-ups in new technology areas such as nanotechnology, bio-technology, design and new materials area, in the future.
